Today we took the kid to Disneyland. We got there right when it opened and walked onto every ride for a couple of hours before leaving. We actually were able to stay on rides because no one was on them or rode them while they were half full. Saturday after Labor Day a PERFECT day to go :)
We rode the Chip and Dale rollar coaster FIVE times. We used to have to take turns waiting off with Courtney or Grant and Ashley and the other would take Courtney or Grant. Today we discovered they could ride together with us behind them. They loved it.
Ashley watching while they kept going and going...
Getting ready.
Hands up....wait a second guys, we haven't even left where you get on....
Now, keep your hands up.
Exciting stuff!
We were able to do all the stuff that we sometimes pass up because the lines are to long. We did Dumbo, Peter Pan, Nemo for example but we also went and watched the Jedi Training show for the first time....
The kids did pretty good until these Star Troopers showed up...

Then Grant started to cry and Courtney grabbed onto Adam. It's funny how kids think there dad is strong enough to protect them from someone like Darth Vadar :)
Then he showed up...
And we lost Courtney to BEHIND Adam.... guess he is pretty scary....

Of course dad is strong enough to protect you from the bad guys :) Looks like a fun day at the Happiest Place on Earth!BTW - I like Courtney's hair clips ;)
Uh... hate to be the nerd here, but "Star" Troopers??
No no no.
Get in touch with your inner star wars nerd and get it right so your kids don't get made fun of at school!
:)
so much fun! i watched a behind the scenes of disneyland this morning while feeding korver and made me want to go so bad! we'll have to plan a big family trip so we can go on some of the big rides!
Brian, I have no idea what they are really called. Honestly thought it was Star Troopers...then again my kids call him Dark Vadar too..... I'll have Adam work on that ;)
Oh how I would love to be so close to Disneyland and be able to go on the "perfect" days so you can get on the rides pretty easily. Looks like your kids had fun, up until you went to the star wars show. ;)
Storm troopers.... come on Tawni :) looks like fun, can't wait to come and play.
